New Zealand is an extraordinary country, known for its clean environment, breath taking scenery and an abundance of wildlife. We are one of the only countries in the world where you can hunt almost all species 365 days a year and 24 hours a day, with the exception of waterfowl, that you can hunt three months a year. This has been made possible as an outcome of New Zealand being a predator free nation, with ‘Man’ being the only method of controlling numbers.
New Zealand is a destination that sits on the bucket list of many hunters, not just because of our many trophies, but in regard to our beautiful landscapes, scenery and the freshness of our land. When hunting in New Zealand you’ll be taken by your surroundings, from the west coast with its rain forests, to the east coast with its open land and beaches. The West Coasts Southern Alps are our chosen location for Bull Tahr and Chamois, this mountain range is what devides the East and West Coast of the Island and is only 6.5 hours away from our home, being the longest distance you will travel for your trophies. One question we get asked a lot while out in these mountains with our clients is about the water quality. We are proud to live in a country where the water that runs through our mountains is safe to drink straight from the stream.
A large number of our hunts are carried out on our private hunt block, just thirty minutes from our home. This is one of the great benefits of living in such a small country with a population of only 4.5 million (half the size of New York), as we do not have to travel for huge amounts of time to hunt. Our block is a natural landscape, made of mountain ranges, valleys and streams, covered in mountainous scrub and bush but also containing good driving tracks. We hope you will join us for an outfitted hunt with New Zealand Horn and Antler Safaris.
We offer all our hunting guests, the New Zealand Horn & Antler Safaris Hunter Guarantee...
